So much fun with Kami floating the river and Lofty Lake Loop, July 2020

We had a blast with Kami in July.  I'm glad she convinced me to go float the Green River. We had a super fun time.  These pictures are all from Kami or Ana since I did not bring my phone on the water.

These two.  They are so adorable!

What summer is all about -- lazy days, floating down the river.

They caught a billion crawdads and came home and ate some.

Next day, Lofty Lakes Loop trail, back across the border in Utah in the Uintahs.  It was a beautiful trail, and it went like this: hike, get to the next lake, undress and jump in and swim a while, then hike some more, and repeat.  :)

I didn't go in, but from all I hear, it was pretty darn cold!

Go, Obi!

Talmage swam way out.

Somebody's dog, but it looks cool.

Woohoo, Navy!!

Finally even got Ethne and Elena to strip down to their underwear and jump in!  Yeah!!

(annoyed that my phone was accidentally set to some kind of filter. oh well)

So beautiful!

So many of us, for just having our two families, haa.  And so sad Hazel couldn't get off work to come.
:(

One of my friends on instagram asked what we actually do with the wet underwear after we swim, and some kids just wore the wet underwear under their pants and continued on, and sometimes we have taken them off and put them in a ziploc bag or just a mesh pocket in a backpack.

I mean, these lakes are just crazy everywhere and so beautiful.

The last lake we got to was the warmest (according to those who had gone in all of them) and the kids could actually stay in the water to swim and play for a while, and Kami jumped in in her clothes.  :)

So many flowers everywhere!  And Ethne's braid became the most beautiful floral arrangement!

We got to some little cave places.

Some of us climbed up and out the top.

Orrin jumped a lot.

These last few are out of order because they are from Kami  or Ana.  Since Hazel wasn't there to do her handstands, I tried.

The end.
