The other day I told Jethro I was going to make him a bow tie, and he ran and grabbed a DVD that we had from the library (as we very often do) of Bill Nye the Science Guy. He said, "Make me one like Bill Nye's!"
Now, I'm not saying anyone who likes Bill Nye is a nerd (Kami), I like Bill Nye as much as a normal person, but when you want a bow tie like him....

I love Bill Nye! And the other day there was a little boy in church with a bow tie on and I thought it was the cutest thing! Love the nightgown, too! I made some for my girls a few years ago and they have worn them right out--so you've inspired me to make some more. And yes, I agree patterns make it harder sometimes.
