Sensitive

I had to wait to post this until after my little sister had announced that she was pregnant.  Here ‘tis:

Today (the Wednesday after having Orrin on Sunday morning), I was feeling a bit emotional and very VERY sore, and then I started chatting with my sister Lindsay on facebook.  She’s just barely pregnant with her first baby (like six weeks along) and I asked her how it was going.  She said, "Well besides very sensitive breasts, it’s mostly good.  Just that I wake up starving but nothing sounds good to eat.”

And I totally had to laugh, because I was like, “I’m sorry you have sensitive breasts.  I feel your pain, seeing as how I have great big, rock-hard, excruciating bowling balls attached to my chest right now.”  Hilarious.  Ahh, the joys of engorgement.

Then Lindsay said, “Yeah, I liked it when my breasts were small insignificant parts of my body better.”  Amen, sister!

Oh please you girls have nothing to complain about. Its when you are already big and noticeable and THEN get preggo or breastfeed that you have something to complain about! Ok ok, they can still be sore and hurting but your bowling balls arent even close to my boulders of a chest. :)

Oh Kayli- that is right up my alley right now. It made me laugh but then I realized that my feeling good right now is soon to go away once my milk comes in. Not that I forgot about that happening but I just wasn't thinking ahead.

I can't wait till my chest is small and insignificant again. I have never understood why people want breast implants. They are much better smaller- though husbands might not think so.

I agree with Linsday Ann - you have nothing to complain about If I try to run on the treadmill I risk knocking myself out with my breasts!!! I just caught up on your blog. Very cute pictures you are doing so awesome on your -photography- too funny about Jethro - I have heard that before - my kids need to do homework and not read - although at parent teacher conference last night I heard all good stuff. YEAH! It must be very frustrating to not be able to talk with the teacher. Cute letter from Hazel. She is so big!!! I feel the same about the new year resolution to be cuter - but you are always so cute - I am envious of your cuteness!! Keep posting - it is so fun to see and hear from you and your family. PS you are lucky your husband said no - I doubt that my husband would say that!
