So, driving through Austria and the very nearby part of Germany we saw a ton of houses with paintings on them. They are awesome. (I am sort of preempting myself with this post, because I have been planning on doing a post of Swiss houses for about, oh, a year now, and some of them are painted ones. Oh well.)
I love the greenery, the painted frames for the windows, and the titles.
This was in a little town just over the German border where we stopped and strolled and had lunch. It was so cute.
Okay here’s the whole front:
and some details:
There were a ton of different shops with neat things like lederhosen and amazing wood carvings and things like that.
I was begging and begging Brett to buy some lederhosen that would fit Talmage but he told me no. I’m kindof mad that I didn’t insist. Kami, here is the dress that I want you to replicate for me.
And the mountains in the background. What a cool place.
We had an icecream cone while we were there. Talmage saw this big cone and didn’t want to leave it. :)
