Volubilis

So, the next morning we hopped in the car and drove to Fez.  On the way we saw people on donkeys.

And sheep.

And some run-down looking cities.

And lots of beautiful green fields.  Also I made Brett stop the car and buy some peas for me to munch on because they were selling them by the side of the road and they looked so yummy.  And they were.

And then we stopped at Volubilis- some Roman ruins.  They were perty cool, and it was relaxing to wander around through them (after the first group of people who offered to be our guides, we were left alone—amazing!).

There were signs explaining things, but most of them were so old and worn out that you couldn’t read them.  But we had a our Lonely Planet book and learned quite enough to satisfy our appetites for knowledge about Volubilis.  Which truthfully wasn’t very much.  This was a boring post.  The end.
