So, we left our little bungalow by Plitvice and drove South to the beach. Brela beach, in fact. Most beautiful beach in Croatia, or so I read.
But first- the very foggy landscape we drove through that morning.
A shepherd with his sheep. Doesn’t that look so awesome?! Brett even turned around and drove back so we could get a picture.
And, the sea. I know, you can’t see the sea, because it’s so foggyish. But it’s there. Oh, but before we got to go to the beach, we had to stop at the travel agency place and sign our papers and whatnot, and they had a huge fit because we had five kids, and they thought we only had 3 or something. But the thing is, I can’t actually put in 5 kids, because the website has a dropbox, and 3 is the biggest option! And there’s no way I’m going to rent two apartments for my family. For crying out loud, these are my five young children, not my 15 friends. So Brett was the one who went in and hashed it out with the lady, and eventually they let us stay but made us pay extra. Ruff.
Anyway, it was the awesomest place ever. This is the view from our balcony.
As soon as we got there we got our swim gear out and got in the water. It was perfect.
We had a hard time keeping track of our heads.
Brett went and got some groceries and came back and had a swim and then we ate dinner. Overlooking the gorgeous sea.
Then we took a walk along the beach.

Gorgeous! How dumb about the paying extra. Like you said, where else would you put your little kids besides with you?! Sometimes I just don't get people. What a fun vacation!
Looks like a wonderful time had by all. Great scenery and love ALL the pics. Mom
That "having to pay extra because you've got more than three kids" thing.........
I think that is what kept us from having a real family vacation ever. It totally bites. lol. Some people. It's like they assume that families will have three kids and that's it. Sheesh.
Loving your posts about your latest vacation. What a BEAUTIFUL vacation spot! Amazing. I bet your kids will remember all of this for the rest of their lives.
