ANNNNNND... I need help!  I reallllly need to figure out a name for my unborn son, so I can get some sleep at night.  So, leave a comment.  Tell me your favorite boy name.  Tell me your grandfathers' names.  Tell me that name you love but would never actually name a child.  Tell me a name you loved from a book or a movie.  Tell me your grandfathers' brothers' names.  Tell me your grandmothers' maiden names.  But mostly, tell me your favorites.  Thanks.

I wanted to name one of my boy's Major (that a family name somewhere back) but Steven wouldn't go for it! I also like Deacon, Liam, and Larsen (none of which Steven liked either!). I have a grandpa Willard. But it seems like most of our family men are named Robert (boring!) Some interesting ones though: Erastus, Otto, Marion, Lars, Silas. Good Luck!!

Family names: Edward, Mortimer, Arnold, Donald, Bruce, David, William. Pretty standard (with the possible exception of Mortimer).

I really have no boy names. I like Liam and Tristan, but I don't know that I'd actually use either of those, because they are kind of trendy right now. I also sort of like Oliver and Oscar, but not 100% sold on those (I'm kind of hoping my baby is a girl because I have no boy names!) Nathan is also nice, but kind of not so exciting (I was totally thinking you were going to go with another Sackett name! Barnabas! Jubal! Kin-Ring!)

possible more helpful is this list from one of my favorite bloggers: http://www.stephmodo.com/2012/05/names-for-boy.html

Funny you ask this because I have been meaning to leave you a comment with my boy name suggestions:)

I really wanted to use Felix when I had Beckett. Maybe I can convince Steve if we have another boy. hmmmm.....some other names- Jude, Oscar, Oliver (would love to name a girl Olive), Henry, Cash. I thought I had some more names that I've liked but wouldn't be able to use. I'll have to think about it. Anyway, good luck...I'm sure you will come up with something awesome!

We named our three boys after the three men who helped rescue the Willie and Martin Handcart company by carrying them across the Sweetwater River. We have David Jason (after David P. Kimball), Steven Allen (after C. Allen Huntington) and Grant Ryan (after George Grant). If we have a fourth boy we're all out of rescuers! David's middle name is Jason, it's a Harper family tradition to name the first boy's middle name after his Dad. Steven almost became "Luke", that was a favorite of mine. Good luck! I can't wait to see what you pick!

SO excited for you, by the way. As for boys names, I'm fresh out. Some that we've considered, but never pulled the trigger on:

Ezra, Emmett, Aidric, Henry, George, Cannon, Isaac, Lachlan, Everett, Elias,

Family names: Cloyd, Duane, Gerald, Junius,

Last names: Burnham, Nelson, Roylance, Freeman

On a side note, I'm guessing you or someone you know must have put in your family names here, because when I searched Orrin, all of your children's names came up as sibling choices=)

Larsen is not a name. It's actually a Scandinavian surname, meaning a son of Lars.
