Just a very quick update to say we're alive. Maybe you weren't worried, but you should have been, because we got pretty close. Well, it felt like it.
I posted this on Facebook last Wed night (a week ago):
Most people in my house went to bed with aching tummies tonight. Talmage came out crying a little while ago and said he needed medicine because it hurt so bad. I told him I was afraid there wasn't any medicine to help. Eventually he barfed in the toilet and then he said, "I feel better now. Maybe I just had to go through all that." Ha ha.
We then proceeded to all get sick (except Orrin, the lucky dog (or unlucky, considering he was sharing a house with sick people so no one really remembered to feed him because he was the only one who could eat)), and first throw up, and then have diarrhea, and then lay on the couch like dead people the next three days--honestly we couldn't read or even watch t.v. the first days.
We were so so sick we couldn't really get up... we luckily had nice neighbors who went to the pharmacy for us and got us some electrolyte drinks and whatnot. We aren't actually back at peak level, but I think after today the kids will probably be able to go to school tomorrow, though sit out for gym and probably crash when they get home.
All I can say is, I'm so very grateful for all of our normally very healthy bodies! (And that cute little baby boy of mine in these pictures who is still astonishingly beautiful and adorable even while being sick.)
Jethro took these pictures on his camera (before anyone got sick) and so he thought he was allowed to edit them. :)
