My baby boy.

Because I took him home from the hospital, so I have had the opportunity to take many many pictures of him now, and because I promised a couple sisters plenty of pictures, and because he is perfect and adorable!!!,  here they are.  (My absolute favorites that I took today are still to come though.)  But I’ve got to hurry and get to bed, because now that he’s home my days of sleeping through the night are a only a beautiful memory, and it’s getting late and he’s asleep…
This is him just home from the hospital on Thursday (we brought him inside a few minutes before the older kids were going to be home from school, and Talmage said to me “We should keep him a secret, and not tell.”  So I said okay, and when Hazel and Ethne came in, the first thing they did was ask if Baby Wyatt was home.  So I told them no, the doctors wouldn’t let him come home yet.  And they both were so upset they were practically crying, and Talmage was smiling, and I couldn’t be that mean for very long, so I said, “Just kidding!  Here he is!”  And Ethne said, “Never do that again!”):

I got Hazel a necklace for her birthday that has a teeny tiny CTR ring on it.  We took it off the necklace and tried it on Wyatt- it almost fits, just a tad too big still.  :)

So beautiful! Come to Utah and take pictures of Will because I do not know how to do him justice! Plus, I can't get Ruth to look at the camera and at the same time have the baby near her for the life of me. His hair looks pretty red in some of those pictures...or orangey. Is it more so, now that its a tad longer?

So so darling! And two things I love about this post: 1) how excited the kids are to hold him and he's just so zonked out that he's oblivious (don't you love babies?) and 2) how tiny he is because I always forget how tiny babies really are! So darling and adorable and snuggly. Goodness, I'm getting a little antsy over here!

I'm so glad you got to bring him home! You've been in my prayers. He is so beautiful, Kayli. It's so much fun to see how much new babies are adored by their older siblings. It's like they knew them before & they were just waiting for them to get here. Enjoy that oh-so-fun itty-bitty phase. It goes so fast! And then you forget that for a little while they could sleep all curled up on your chest while you snuggle their little bald heads and breath in that baby love Oh...so sweet!!! Owen's still in that stage, but not for much longer. Anyway, I'm so glad Wyatt is home with you!
