My three youngest boys.

So, yesterday I thought I’d try getting some soft, sweet, ‘precious’ pictures of the three little boys (you know the type- you’ve seen them on pinterest and so forth).  So I got their hair done, and got stuff ready (as much as I could, although looking at the pictures now, I should have cleared all the junk off of Brett’s bedside table) and did some pep talking to Talmage.  I got approximately 30 seconds of willing participation, and then I eked out maybe 1.5 more minutes of unwilling participation.  Now I did know that I had two little boys and a baby, so my expectations were not too high, and I got a few pictures (4 to be precise) that were pretty cute, but Talmage was whining so much and the kids had limp arms—and couldn’t support poor Wyatt’s head the least bit, and I didn’t even try about two thirds of the ideas I had.

And then they were done.

And then I sat on the floor and nursed Wyatt and took these pictures.

 

Ethne joined in for a couple minutes too.

My baby boy.

Because I took him home from the hospital, so I have had the opportunity to take many many pictures of him now, and because I promised a couple sisters plenty of pictures, and because he is perfect and adorable!!!,  here they are.  (My absolute favorites that I took today are still to come though.)  But I’ve got to hurry and get to bed, because now that he’s home my days of sleeping through the night are a only a beautiful memory, and it’s getting late and he’s asleep…
This is him just home from the hospital on Thursday (we brought him inside a few minutes before the older kids were going to be home from school, and Talmage said to me “We should keep him a secret, and not tell.”  So I said okay, and when Hazel and Ethne came in, the first thing they did was ask if Baby Wyatt was home.  So I told them no, the doctors wouldn’t let him come home yet.  And they both were so upset they were practically crying, and Talmage was smiling, and I couldn’t be that mean for very long, so I said, “Just kidding!  Here he is!”  And Ethne said, “Never do that again!”):

I got Hazel a necklace for her birthday that has a teeny tiny CTR ring on it.  We took it off the necklace and tried it on Wyatt- it almost fits, just a tad too big still.  :)

So sad!

I love Wyatt!!  And I’m so happy to have him home with me!
