So, this day, we decided to go see the catacombs at the Convento de San Francisco de Asís de Cusco (which I did not remember the name of, but I could remember where it was, behind and to the side a bit of San Pedro market, so I just looked at google maps and found out the name.) Actually I think we had been planning to hike this day, but then Jethro had thrown up a bunch in the night, so we changed plans.
We walked there and got our tickets, and just wandered through. Hardly anyone was there, so we got to just take it in. Catholic paintings are very very weird.
Hazel liked the bones, as she is a fan of the macabre (In works of art, the adjective macabre (US: /məˈkɑːb/ or UK: /məˈkɑːbrə/; French: [makabʁ]) means "having the quality of having a grim or ghastly atmosphere".)
This library was actually incredible, as a lot of these books are hand-written, and old as all get-out.
Good times. A little side market that we liked and Hazel and Ethne found some souvenirs for friends.
