Finally got some kids from church together for a party.
I felt so bad for Jethro--he had moved straight from Pittsburgh to BYU, not even coming to our house for a little while in between really, so he knew NO one here. And then to come back when it was Covid, and people were not getting together, he just didn't have a chance to meet people and that was tough. He did start to get to know some people from his different jobs, but I help get this party together. I still feel like I should have helped more--done this again, or had him go to the singles ward, or something. Oh well.
Wyatt drew these one night while Hazel was drawing too.
Ethne decided to sort all our books alphabetically by author. I came down and saw her reading and was like, "It's going to take you quite a while if you read all the books as you go." haha
Pretty blue walls.
Shrimp lettuce wraps with mango salsa. DELICIOUS.
Navy was just the cutest CUTEST thing this morning.
Wyatt sewed her a hat. ...
Dad told Hazel to read all of the Black Stallion books (there are 20), so she did. Then he got her this Breyer horse, which is pretty sweet.
A hike with Mom from Cherry Hill ski resort.
This is when Mom was telling them that when she was a girl, she would get sap from the trees and chew it for gum. So they told her to try it,
and she said it was gross and that they must have better tasting trees in Canada. Hahaa!
New outfit from Aunt Amy. Oh, she's so cute!
Trying to decide how to decorate our house. Oh how I hate it. It is the most terrible, stressful thing ever and if I didn't have Kami I would probably just die. But I do like how it ended up.
