Our last day we went to Crater Lake and it was gorgeous and awe-inspiring.
We walked down and swam and jumped off the rocks and just feasted our eyes on the amazing blue crystal-clear water. It was chilly but not too bad. Just enough to make you happy to get out of the water after jumping in. :)

We spent the rest of the day driving around the lake, stopping at each viewpoint. Then we set up our tents at the campground nearby, which was really nice. The kids ran a lot of races that night, and the very last one, when Brett called us to come and get ready for bed, but they had him watch their last race, of course Orrin biffed it and landed on his face. Good times.
Then we got up early to get a good start to our long drive home, but Brett still let me take pictures of the lake before we left, with the sun rising, and it was soooo pretty!

Oregon was soooo wonderful and fun and I loved it and want to go back to all the other places that we didn't have time for.
